tickets1617 evertonBurnley fans travelling to Goodison Park for the away game against Everton on Saturday 15th April will be only have to pay a maximum of £20 to watch the game courtesy of Virgin Media and the FSF.

The Burnley FC Supporters Groups and Up the Clarets have worked closely with the FSF on the Twenty’s Plenty campaign which had some success this season with away fans now paying no more than £30 at any Premier League away game.

There was a reduction for us at Southampton, down to a maximum of £20, courtesy of Virgin Media, their club sponsor, and now they have extended that in association with the FSF for the games played between 15th and 23rd April, although any games called off due to the FA Cup semi-finals will be included when played.

We’ll pay the standard price at Everton but will be able to claim the refund by downloading a form which needs to be posted with the ticket (details will be given later). Supporters will then receive a cheque in the post which will even cover the cost of second class postage spent in sending in the ticket.

Brigitte Trafford of Virgin Media said: “We want to be part of a positive change for Premier League football fans across the country and are stepping up by subsidising away tickets to £20.

“Away fans are at the heart of the game and their tickets need to be affordable. Without them, the atmosphere in grounds is reduced and their teams don’t feel supported.”

In response: Kevin Miles, Chief Executive of the FSF, said: “The Football Supporters’ Federation has a long-standing rally cry – Twenty’s Plenty for Away Tickets. We’re delighted that Virgin Media has helped make that a reality at many upcoming top-flight games.

“Thanks to this Twenty’s Plenty deal, tens of thousands of top-flight fans could potentially save hundreds of thousands of pounds in the coming weeks. It’s a great idea.”
