fantasy premier league 2019-20 bannerThe Premier League has launched the official 2019/20 Fantasy Premier League game and Up the Clarets have again set up a league for our own fantasy game.

As we’ve done in previous seasons, our league will run with prizes for finishing in the top positions (usually the top three) and also for the winning managers of the month.

The entry fee remains at £10 per team (£10.60 if using credit/debit card or Paypal to cover the costs) and for each entry received, £5 will be added to the prize fund with the remainder being donated to the Up the Clarets Youth Foundation.

The official game has served us well both here and elsewhere for more some fifteen years. It’s easy to play. All you have to do is select a squad of fifteen players within a £100 million budget and off you go with team and squad changes permitted throughout the season as well as having the facility to make wholesale changes to your squad on a couple of occasions with no penalty. All the extra features are there too again this coming season, one of those is new allowing you to make a full change of your squad for one week only.

Once again you will be able to select up to three Burnley players. Last season our best points scorers included strikers Ashley Barnes & Chris Wood along with Dwight McNeil and there are some bargains to be had shopping at Turf Moor with Bard & Wood currently our highest priced players at £6.5 million each/

If you want to push the boat out, Mo Salah will cost you £12.5 million, but you can sign either Sergio Agüero or Raheem Sterling for half a million less. Harry Kane this year is just £11 million.

What do you need to join? That’s easy, just set up your squad and send us your entry fee. On receipt you will receive the code to join the Up the Clarets League.

You do not have to have registered for our Message Board but you will be able to see a list of entries there along with the prize fund and details of those prizes once it is closed for entries.

Just click HERE for details on how to register for the game and how to join our league. You can change your squad as often as you like until the deadline for the first week and that is currently 2 p.m. on Saturday 11th August.
