Weekend in London for the Palace game
Burnley are at Crystal Palace on 1st December and Burnley Football Supporters’ Club have chosen it for their first weekend away of the season.
They will be travelling down on the Friday, 30th November, returning on the Sunday and, of course, taking in Burnley’s Premier League game at Selhurst Park on the Saturday.
The coach will leave Turf Moor at 10 a.m. on the Friday for the journey down to London with a lunch stop at Huntingdon on route. The destination is the previously used and popular Ibis London Excel which is located in the Docklands. It’s a convenient position which offers a selection of hostelries and restaurants within walking distance.
There are a number of attractions in the area where you might wish to visit on the Saturday before the coach transfer to Palace, including the Museum of London Docklands, the Maritime Museum, the O2 along with the Cutty Sark and Greenwich Market.
There will be a visit to Covent Garden, or similar, on the Sunday before the return journey with an expected arrival of 9:30 p.m. at Turf Moor.
The cost is £195 per person based on sharing a twin or double room with a single room supplement of £40. This includes all coach travel and two night’s bed and breakfast at the hotel.
