Youth team fixtures released
Burnley’s fixtures for the 2016/17 Youth Alliance League have been published with the young Clarets set to play the same teams as last season.
It’s set to be a big change at youth level in the next year with this potentially our last season in the Youth Alliance League should the club be successful in achieving EPPP Category 2 status. It’s also a change in personnel with Michael Duff and John Townson now in charge of the youth team amidst speculation that more changes are likely with a change at the top of the youth academy forecast ahead of the new season.
The young Clarets kick off their new campaign with an away game at Fleetwood on 6th August, but prior to that will play four pre-season friendlies with three of those at Gawthorpe, the first of which being against Rotherham a week on Saturday.
All the Youth Fixtures, and those published for the Development Squad can now be found within U21/U18 Stats which can be found on the top menu.
