Burnley are off the bottom of the league for now, a point this evening from a 0-0 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium lifting us a point clear of Sheffield United.

It’s a fourth consecutive game for the Clarets without a goal. We haven’t scored since the 3-1 defeat at Newcastle four weeks ago and can add this to the 0-0 draw at West Brom and the two home defeats, 1-0 against Spurs and 3-0 against Chelsea.

But at least a second clean sheet of the season and at least another point as we go into the latest international beak.

As was the case for the last game against Chelsea, there won’t be a report on Up the Clarets. Again we’ve taken up the choice given to us by our club and opted not to pay £14.95 to watch the game, instead we’ve made a donation to charity.

The teams were;

Brighton: Mat Ryan, Joël Veltman (Alireza Jahanbakhsh 83), Ben White, Adam Webster, Tariq Lamptey, Pascal Groß, Adam Lallana, Yves Bissouma, Dan Burn, Neal Maupay, Danny Welbeck (Aaron Connolly 86). Subs not used: Jason Steele, Bernardo, Alexis Mac Allister, Steven Alzate, Davy Pröpper.
Yellow Card: Yves Bissouma

Burnley: Nick Pope, Matt Lowton, James Tarkowski, Ben Mee, Charlie Taylor, Robbie Brady, Josh Brownhill, Ashley Westwood, Dwight McNeil, Ashley Barnes (Jay Rodriguez 70), Chris Wood (Matěj Vydra 83).
