Anfield referee is Andre Marriner
Our away game tomorrow at Liverpool will be refereed by West Midlands referee Andre Marriner. It will be his second Burnley game of the season, having refereed the Wolves game at Molineux and it will be third time he’s taken charge of a Liverpool game having refereed their 1-1 draws at Chelsea and Arsenal.
This season, he’s refereed a total of 26 games with only one of those, a League Two game in November, in the Football League. In those games he’s shown a total of 71 yellow and three red cards. Of those yellows, 31 have gone to home team players and 40 to away team players. He sent of Wes Morgan in Leicester’s 2-1 home defeat against Everton, former Claret Kevin McDonald as Fulham were beaten 3-0 at home by Bournemouth and his most recent red card was shown to Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace in their 1-1 draw at Southampton.
His most recent game was a week ago back at Wolves for their 2-0 win against Cardiff. There were three yellow cards in that game, to Ryan Bennett of Wolves and Cardiff pair Lee Peltier and Sol Bamba.
The assistant referees are Scott Ledger and Richard West. The fourth official is Mike Dean who refereed our recent home win against Spurs.
