Will Couch scored the late winning goal against Blackburn Rovers eleven days ago and today he’s added a late goal to earn the under-18s a point against Everton in a 1-1 draw at Finch Farm.

The game remained goalless until the 76th minute when Everton went in front with a goal from Owen Barker but Couch (pictured) drew us level in the 88th minute, one minute earlier than his match winner against Blackburn.

He lobbed goalkeeper Patrick Nash for his goal and Nash prevented Couch scoring a winner in stoppage time with a fine save as the Clarets, who had been beaten by Everton at home back in October, came so close to winning the game.

The teams were;

Everton: Patrick Nash, Roman Dixon, Harry Wright, Ishé Samuels-Smith, Jack Tierney, Imam Jagne (Sam Coughlan 73), Owen Barker, Matthew Apter, Halid Djankpata (Coby Ebere 57), Isaac Heath, Troy Smikle-James (Shae Cahill 79). Subs not used: Dylan Graham, Daniel Maher.

Burnley: Charlie Casper, Keelan Williams, Nathan James, Benn Ward, Dane McCullough, Lucas Wane (Trevon Bryan 74), Joe Bauress, Will Hugill (Brad Grant 84), Kade Ratchford, Ryan Tioffo (Ruairi Behan 74), Will Couch. Subs not used: Harry Moss, Tosin Olopade.
