1516 burnley turf moor 04Burnley have confirmed the dates for the six Premier League Cup games against Blackburn, Cardiff and Sunderland with away supporters being banned from the two fixtures against our local rivals.

The full set of fixtures are shown below and on the Development Squad Fixtures & Results page, and supporters will be able to attend the games against Cardiff and Sunderland although there will be restrictions for the two games against Blackburn with only home supporters able to attend the fixtures with free admission to season ticket holders and tickets available for non-season ticket holders who have a purchase history.

Interestingly, when the teams met last season, there was no admission for supporters of either club, other than friends of directors, a decision which Blackburn disagreed with and told their supporters they were not involved in the making of the decision  but had to accept the outcome. Strangely, they have now allowed a situation where Burnley supporters will not be admitted to Ewood Park for a game in the same competition between the two clubs.

The full fixtures are:

Fri 30th Sep: Blackburn (a) at Ewood Park (kick off 2 p.m.)
Mon 7th Nov: Cardiff (h) at Turf Moor (kick off 2 p.m.)
Sun 4th Dec: Sunderland (a) at Eppleton Colliery Welfare (kick off 1 p.m.)
Mon 23rd Jan: Blackburn (h) at Turf Moor (kick off 11 a.m.)
Mon 13th Feb: Cardiff (a) at Cardiff City Stadium (kick off 2 p.m.)
Mon 27th Feb: Sunderland (h) at Turf Moor (kick off 1 p.m.)
