There’s been a lot of speculation in the last few days that striker Patrick Bamford could be on his way to Turf Moor in a loan deal and Dyche admitted after today’s game: “Patrick is close. It’s just a few I’s getting dotted and T’s getting crossed.”

Burnley might not have been able to smuggle any surplus Chelsea players out of Stamford Bridge tonight but Sean Dyche has confirmed we are very close to doing just that.
He added: “There are a number of other things closer too, but we still have to get them over the line, so we’ll wait and see.”
