Ben Mee in with a chance for Friday

The big news coming out of today’s press conference is that club skipper Ben Mee has a chance of being involved at Brighton this Friday having completed minutes in a behind closed doors game.

He and Phil Bardsley, who has missed the recent games because of testing positive for COVID, have both come through. It might just be a little bit early for Mee as yet but it will undoubtedly give everyone a lift if he is involved although Sean Dyche said of Mee: “He’s got a chance to return this weekend, he’s certainly injury-free.”

Jack Cork and Erik Pieters both remain unavailable although Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson and is considered touch and go by the manager.
