1718 burnley tristan jumeau 00 500x500Last week, we got our revenge over Bolton, beating them 4-1 in the U18 Professional Development League having lost the first game against them earlier in the season; tomorrow we are looking to repeat that when Birmingham come to Gawthorpe.

Back in October, just one week after losing1-0 at home against Bolton, we were beaten 3-2 at Birmingham with Tristan Jumeau (pictured) and Kian Yari scoring our goals. The defeat cost us first place in the league too; we dropped to second behind Nottingham Forest whilst Birmingham, despite the win, remained bottom.

Today, we are back in second place following last week’s win, now one point behind leaders Huddersfield, but Birmingham have been on a very good run since and have lifted themselves into fourth place and they would have been second had they won last week.

There has been no indication, as yet, that the game could be in doubt due to the current weather situation and please note that kick off tomorrow is 12 noon rather than the usual 11 a.m.
