Tonight the spotlight falls on Steven Burke. He was here with Sophie Hitchon and Jon Schofield four year ago after he’d won a team pursuit cycling gold in the London Olympics. He returns tonight having won another gold in the same event in Tokyo.

At half time at the last home game against Hull, Olympians Sophie Hitchon and Samantha Murray were presented to the crowd with Burnley girl Sophie having just won bronze in the hammer event in Rio.
