Clarets for Foodbanks are back on Padiham Road
Clarets for Foodbanks, through Burnley FC Supporters Groups, were able to collect food items for Burnley Community Kitchen for two days last weekend on Padiham Road. It was a great success with a full bin by the end of the second day.
The bin will be back out again both today and tomorrow between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on each day. It’s positioned outside Padiham Road Methodist Church on the corner of Padiham Road and Brassey Street (see picture).
Foodbank use has gone up significantly during the pandemic and Burnley Community Kitchen, during this time, have lost the collections from Clarets for Foodbanks that were held outside Turf Moor ahead of home games. It means the need for donations is even greater. Any help you can offer will be so valuable to assist those in our area who are most in need.
