Concerns grow for former Claret Clarke Carlisle
Former Burnley player Clarke Carlisle has been reported missing this morning and there are serious concerns over his welfare since he was last seen either in Preston yesterday afternoon or Manchester early this morning.
Clarke did play for us, from 2007 until 2011, but that’s not relevant right now, nor is it that he played for other clubs in the Football League during his career. What is relevant, and what is important is that he is found safe and well.
Clarke’s health issues are well documented and we can only hope that Clarke is not suffering again but the concerns are such that the Lancashire Police today issued a statement, referring to his last known whereabouts and offering a description of him which we, of course, don’t need.
They have reported that he was last seen wearing a black zip up jacket, a black t-shirt, blue jeans and Nike trainers.
They have asked anyone with information to contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting 0235 of September 15th. Alternatively, if you know anything, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or at crimestoppers-uk.org online.
If you are suffering from any mental health issues, please seek help, be it from your doctor, at hospital, from a family member, friend or colleague, or someone you can trust. Click HERE for some suggestions, but please do seek that help.
Clarke and his family are in our thoughts at this time.Share this page :
