Darikwa Forest move looks on
Speculation mounted during Tuesday afternoon that right-back Tendayi Darikwa could be on the move to Nottingham Forest and that was heightened when Phil Bardsley signed in at Turf Moor just a couple of hours before our game at Preston.
Signed two years ago by Burnley, it could be a repeat for Darikwa if he goes to his home town club where Frank McParland, who brought him to Turf Moor, is now director of football at Forest.
The Nottingham Post have reported that the signing is close and Forest boss Mark Warburton, whose side we play this Saturday, said: “There could be a Burnley player playing for a different side on Saturday, yes,” when asked about him, while Sean Dyche said of any potential move: “There’s a strong possibility of that, we’re waiting on a couple of situations that may arise.”Follow UpTheClarets:
