Burnley will finally be back in action this Saturday when Tottenham Hotspur are the visitors to Turf Moor.
The international break has give the injured players an opportunity to get closer to fitness although it does appear that Johann Berg Gudmundsson remains some distance from a return.
Manager Sean Dyche has today confirmed that Steven Defour is close to a return while Gudmundsson is back in light training.
Defour was on the bench at Sunderland two weeks ago but hasn’t played in the first team since the win against Leicester on 31st January and it is six weeks since Gudmundsson was forced off in the FA Cup game against Lincoln.
