Defour joins Antwerp

As expected, Steven Defour, who had his contract terminated at Burnley over the weekend, has signed a one year deal this afternoon with Belgian club Royal Antwerp.

Although, as a free agent, he could have signed at any time, the deal has gone through today ahead of the closure of the transfer window with his new club having signed a total of three new players, the other two being Manuel Benson and Zinho Gano who have both arrived from KRC Genk, Gano on a loan deal.
