Sean Dyche could be without Jack Cork for Sunday’s home game against Sheffield United after he picked up an ankle injury at Crystal Palace, but he could be boosted by the return of four players who were all ruled out of that win at Selhurst Park.

Jay Rodriguez, who picked up an injury against Watford, is expected to be fit to return and that could be the same for all of Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson, Robbie Brady and Chris Wood although the manager has concerns because of their lack of game time.

He said today: “Jόhann has a chance of at least being involved in some capacity. Robbie has a chance of being in and around it maybe, although we could probably do with him having some more football. Jόhann is similar, but he has been training for a longer period with the first team.

“Woody is similar to Robbie where we will have to make a decision how he is feeing and if he needs more training time because he hasn’t had much at all and we’ve still got all these games coming up pretty thick and fast.”

We will still be without both Matt Lowton and Ashley Barnes as well as potentially Cork.
