Final away game for under-18s at Middlesbrough
The under-18s, beaten three days ago at Manchester City, are back in action this afternoon against Middlesbrough in what will be the team’s final away game of the season.
With both teams having six games remaining, we still have home fixtures against Derby and Manchester City to come, Middlesbrough are currently fourth in the table although a long way behind the top three. We are eighth with six points less than our opponents this afternoon.
The home game against them, played in November, ended in a 0-0 draw and was, until a month ago, the only time we’d failed to score in a league game since although we’ve now added blanks sheets in away games at Stoke and Manchester City.
This afternoon’s game will be streamed live on YouTube by Middlesbrough – the game kicks off at 1 p.m. at their Rockliffe Park training ground.
