Michael Mellon has been called up for the Scotland under-21 squad for their game against Spain.

The game is a qualifier for the 2026 UEFA European Under-21 Championships. It will be played on Monday, 11th September at the Estadio Municipal De La Victoria in Jaen.

Mellon is currently on loan at Morecambe for whom he has scored four goals in seven games this season, including last Saturday’s winner when they beat Salford 1-0.

Congratulations to him on what we hope is a long and successful international career.
