Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis has confirmed this evening that he expects Ben Gibson tol become a Burnley player this weekend.

Speaking after his side had come back from two behind to earn a point in a 2-2 draw at Millwall, Pulis said: “He’s going, it’s agreed, it’s done and we want to thank Ben, an absolutely fantastic professional.In the six months I’ve had at this football club he’s as good a professional as I’ve ever worked with and I spoke to Sean Dyche and Dychey’s got a real, top, top player.

“I think it will go through this weekend. I think it’s all done. I think everybody has agreed it and it’s just a case of him doing his medical and then that will be it.”

The fee is expected to be in the region of £15 million and will end Sean Dyche’s search for a central defender that started when Michael Keane moved to Everton last summer.
