salford 1000x500The ground photographs feature on Up the Clarets has just received a massive update which has taken the number of photographs beyond 3,500.

Those photographs feature almost 640 different ground and the latest update has seen new countries Georgia, Moldova and St. Vincent added to take that total to 73.

The new additions include photographs from many other countries as well as league and non-league in England, including some showing the changes made recently at new league club Salford. Eight Serie D Italian grounds have been added and there are also new photographs from Belarus, China, Germany, Greece, Republic of Ireland, Lithuania, Malta, Myanmar, Scotland, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine, including the abandoned ground of Stroitel Pripyat, just a mile from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

This is also the time of year when we re-organise the English ground photographs for clubs who are in the top five leagues. They have now been moved into their new leagues ahead of the new season.

My thanks to Stephen Allen, Graham Barker, Iain Beattie, Stuart Bramhill, Simon Bray, Dave Caldwell, Lester Davison, Rick Elliott, Mike Hadi and Terry Hephrun who have provided many of the new photographs.

Just take a look around the Ground Photographs feature and if you have been on your travels and taken any you would like to see included, please EMAIL them to us and they will be added with the next update.
