Luke Hendrie has become the second member of our development squad to temporarily swap Turf Moor for Rugby Park with a loan move to Kilmarnock and he’ll be there until January.
George Green has already joined them and made his debut in a 2-1 Scottish Premiership win at Hamilton, and now Hendrie, son of former Middlesbrough striker John Hendrie, has made the move north of the border in a loan deal.
Hendrie joined the Clarets’ development squad a year ago from Derby and spent time out on loan last season, firstly with Hartlepool and then with York and made a total of 21 League Two appearances.
Now he is going to get the opportunity to play at the top level in Scotland with Kilmarnock.
