1617 burnley johann berg gudmundsson 01 100c500None of Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson, Matěj Vydra or Danny Drinkwater are expected to be part of Burnley’s squad for the game against Watford this Saturday at Vicarage Road.

Sean Dyche confirmed this afternoon that Guðmundsson (pictured) is progressing well but is still working with the physios while Vydra, who suffered a tear in his hip in training over two weeks ago, is a doubt. Dyche suggested he had a chance of making it although only a slim chance.

Drinkwater played a further game this week, featuring in a very young team against Preston that was all about getting him more minutes. He said the on loan midfielder is still moving towards fill fitness.
