clarke mcmahonFive of our players have received full international calls but there is further good news with two members of the under-23 squad names in the Republic of Ireland under-19 squad.

Defender James Clarke, who has captained our under-23s this season, and goalkeeper George McMahon, recruited from Rotherham during the summer, are both in the squad for the Republic of Irelands three Group 10 games in the UEFA Under-19 Championship.

They open up against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Wednesday 10th October and follow that up with fixtures against the Faroe Islands on Saturday 13th and the Netherlands on Tuesday 16th October.

All three games are being played at the City Calling Stadium, Longford. The first two kick off at 3 p.m. with the Netherlands game kicking off at 1 p.m.
