It will be a late night in Oz for Melbourne Clarets
Burnley face Southampton at home this weekend. For locally based supporters it is a traditional Saturday afternoon kick off at 3 p.m. but for the Melbourne Clarets it means a late night out to watch the game.
The Sherlock Holmes are opening for the supporters group for what will be a 2 a.m. kick off in that part of Australia but you will need to be there for midnight to join those already committed to spending the early hours of the morning watching the Clarets in Premier League action.
This venue, which is at 415 Collins Street in Melbourne, has become the regular base for our supporters in Melbourne and it’s a case of the more the merrier so if you are based there then please go along where you will be made very welcome.
They certainly had an enjoyable time just before Christmas when they met for the Manchester City game, played with a more respectable 12:15 a.m. kick off time. The photograph to the right shows some of the Burnley fans there ahead of the game.
