JBG to replace Hendrick in squad for Everton
Jeff Hendrick, who scored that fantastic winning goal against Everton at Goodison Park two seasons ago and also the winner against them this season at home, is ruled out of the Boxing Day clash against them after picking up a fifth yellow card of the season in the 1-0 win at Bournemouth last Saturday.
Aaron Lennon, who came on during the second half for Hendrick, is also a doubt after missing training today because of illness although Sean Dyche it is hoped that he’ll be able to shake it off to enable him to potentially feature against his former club.
Dyche has also confirmed that Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson, whose last first team appearance was against Everton, is back in the reckoning after coming through Saturday’s under-23 win against Birmingham.
