Wide player Marcel Lewis went on loan to Dundee for the first half of this season but didn’t get a single minute of first team action there before being recalled by the Clarets.

It was expected that he would go out on loan again and that’s been confirmed this evening with the former Accrington player set to play in National League North for Curzon Ashton with the team currently in seventh place, the last of the play-off positions.

Lewis arrived at Burnley at the end of the summer transfer window in 2022 from Belgian club Union St-Gilloise. He’d started his career with Cambridge before moving on to Chelsea at the age of fifteen before making the move to Belgium in May 2021.

He joined Accrington on loan for the second half of the 2021/22 season but made just three appearances for them. Then came Burnley and he was a regular in the under-21s last season before moving out to Dundee at the beginning of this season.

We wish him well at Curzon Ashton.
