Loan deal at Coventry for Agyei
Striker Dan Agyei has been sent to Coventry, not permanently I must add but he has become the latest of our development squad to go out on loan. He will be with the League One club until January
He joined us from AFC Wimbledon a year ago but missed a large part of the 2015/16 season due to an injury picked up on his first Turf Moor appearance against Wigan in a Premier League Under 21 cup tie last September.
This summer he became a very much talked about player when he got a substitute appearance for the first team at Bradford City and followed that up with a first team start at Bolton as the Clarets built up during the pre-season.
He wasn’t involved in the last two friendlies, at Rangers and the home game against Real Sociedad, but there was a lot of speculation that he could be going out on loan with QPR and Coventry the two clubs most mentioned, and it is Coventry who have won his signature for the first half of the season.Follow UpTheClarets:
