1718 burnley ntumba massanka 00 500x500Young striker Ntumba Massanka has gone out on loan from Burnley for a fourth time and has rejoined Wrexham in the National League, the club he was with in the second half of last season.

After previous loans at York and Morecambe, where he made a number of substitute appearances, his first three appearances for Wrexham were also from the bench. His first start came in a 3-1 home win against Guiseley on the first Saturday of February. They fell behind but Massanka scored the equaliser as Wrexham went on to win 3-1.

It was the first of four goals he scored for them in 18 National League appearances, of which 11 were starts, and it was certainly the most memorable, an overhead kick from a right wing cross that hit the headlines on the day.

Recommended by former Claret Brian Flynn, Wrexham haven’t hesitated in taking him back to the Racecourse Ground with this loan running until January.

Popular with the Wrexham fans, they will be pleased to see him return while Massanka tweeted: “It’s great to be back. Hopefully we can make this season one to remember.”
