Mee & Lowton share honours against Arsenal
The last man of the match vote and player ratings of the season have been completed with Ben Mee winning the vote and sharing first place in the ratings with Matt Lowton.
Mee secured 31% of the vote to win the man of the match with Lowton second having won a 23% share. Ashley Westwood took third place with 13% and he was followed by Ashley Barnes who was in fourth place with 10% of the vote.
It was the same top three in the player ratings with Lowton and Mee this time both having a rating of 7.26 out of 10 to jointly win first place. Westwood was third with a rating of 7.06 and the Up the Clarets Player of the Year James Tarkowski took fourth place with a rating of 6.88 out of 10.
Mee won ten points to add to his total in the final player of the year table with eight points for Lowton. Westwood picked up four points while both Barnes and Tarkowski won one point each.
Tarky had already won our player of the year and he ended the season 14 points clear of second place Charlie Taylor. Mee’s performance in the last game enabled him to move into third place ahead of goalkeeper Joe Hart.
