Re: What do you reckon to the Isak situation ?

Newcastle have made their position clear, so opting to put in a formal request isn't relevant here.

In practical terms Isak putting in a formal transfer request doesn't change anything in terms of Newcastle's standpoint

I thought we'd made a cheeky bid when I saw this thread surface.

This let him rot in the reserves idea - should we have done that with Shackell or the collection of players a year ago?
the club always suffers the most under that kind of scenario.

Re: What do you reckon to the Isak situation ?

Lot of discussion about this all being about the money, I don't know Isak, maybe it is, but at Liverpool he has a genuine chance of some major silverware.

ALK are quick to try to get players on new contracts when they are performing well. Perhaps Newcastle could take a leaf from their book there.

Think we’d all be happy if Burnley turned in the performance Leeds did there. I think if we’d had played Everton first game, it would be far more cagey with us showing them too much respect.

Re: What do we need

I'm not sure we need another RB - Roberts and Tuanezebe can cover that once they're fit. However, a center back should be our top priority and I have no idea why we didn't sign someone as soon as we knew CJER was off. Would like to see another central midfielder (Hamer perhaps) and a striker but no...

Re: What do we need

For me, the priorities should be an athletic, forward thinking right wing back, a dominant centre half who is a threat in both boxes, and an additional central midfielder who offers quality in possession to rival Cullen as the "prompter". I like Roberts and if we were aiming to play a back 4 as sta...

Re: What do we need

What we need is players with the potential to play at this level to deliver their full potential. I worry over recent times the Prem carries a fear factor. The top sides will of course beat us more often than not but I really do think we need to cross this threshold as we did under Dyche, often with...

Some reductions if you're a season ticket holder.
