We were forced to queue for ages as the security faffed about. I worked next door at Kew House School and watched as the Lefo ground was built by Romanian builders.Rail seating but small sections that killed atmosphere. Personally I preferred Griffin Park for its character

Sunderland got lucky playing teams who are struggling. WHU first game was a bonus as ours v Spurs was as tough as it gets. We are still in transition but may have to consider bringing in a striker in January if Broja doesn't regain sharpness maybe a loan before then?

We that were there saw a gritty battling performance and a game on another day we could have won. All our players gave 100% and Tino and Loum bossed the game with our superb defence excellently marshalled by Martin in goal. We will win more games against lesser opposition.
