PGMO (there is no L now) are definitely not being dictated to by the Premier League. They have to use the laws as laid down by IFAB but at least make some positive attempt to use common sense. One bowled, two lbw and the other wicket down to a fast, short bowl which drew the batter into playing a poor shot. I am pleased that they have seen fit to bowl in a very sensible fashion and have got results. A good game to win from here.

Batters only get bowled if the bowlers bowl at the stumps. We have lost that art as far as I am concerned. It will be the usual mix of too short and too wide in the hope that we can buy wickets. We are unable to play Test cricket these days, with one or two exceptions.

Last 7 tests against India we have managed 2 win and 5 defeats and three of those, including today, were very heavy defeats.
