Fruit rant? I'm all in. 'Ripen at home' peaches. Here is a punnet of fruit that will remain rock hard until the point they get covered in mould. Many varieties of fruit have vanished over the years because they don't meet supermarket buying guidelines about shelf life or may bruise easily. These var...

I agree with many of the points that have been made here in terms of a contract was fulfilled etc. I'd like to add a further point though about this idea of loyalty and that TAA owes Liverpool in some way. He's been at Liverpool for 20 odd years. In that time he will have played youth football with ...

I've been thinking about this more than I probably should but its given me the opportunity to go through parts of my music collection I haven't listened to in a while. As mentioned by all the above: hygiene. Be paranoid. Nothing worse than a ruined batch because you were lazy about it. Re: Man City to be relegated?
What they did was systematic cheating at the highest level for years. The PL would be quite within their rights to kick them out. The Football League is under no obligation to take them in either. Everton put their hands up and admitted they got it wrong. They got a significant points deduction beca...

It will be interesting to see what happens with the Man City legal proceedings. If they get relegated then I expect an extra team will be have to be promoted from the championship. I very much doubt that will happen this season but there could be a 4 up season coming soon.

I said it earlier in the season and I'll repeat it now. This feels like the first 6 months under Dyche. We had a team that was conceding lots of goals and the new manager spent the first 6+ months sorting out the defensive shape. The performances were dull and boring. I know of several people who sa...

It is difficult to judge Dyche on what he did at Everton. They are a basketcase of a club with some very serious deep seated issues. I don't know if he would have kept them up but I know the players would have worked their hardest to do it. The team he inherited was bereft of goal scoring threats bu...

I will openly admit I was extremely underwhelmed when Parker was appointed although I can understand the logic behind giving him the job. He wasn't in my top 3 of prefered candidates. Incomplete. It is still very. very early in his tenure. I do remember a cracking 5-2? win against them at home in the 90's. Jim Stannard was their goalkeeper and it was around the time the backpass rule had just been brought in. Absolutely. We looked much, much better than at any point this season so far. Koleosho was really positive and direct. Berge looked more settled as the DM. Amdouni was a creative threat.
