Build a temporary 'LEGO' style stadium at Crow Wood. When it is ready, we move there, and stay there until Turf Moor is demolished and rebuilt, when we move back to TURF MOOR. There will be more than adequate corporate facilities, and a designated away fan section, nowhere near to the dressing rooms...

Seems OK to me, but I think we should have that centre section, directly behind the goal. That should be corrected ASAP, unless that takes them under the minimum number.

There is enough footballing quality between Esteve, Ekdal and Walker, that should enable them to cover and support each other, when things get a bit difficult. It doesn't mean that we won't give away a few goals over the course of the season, but it might mean, that we keep that number down to a res...

He obviously wouldn't have been the first, but Eddie Barlow was the first pro I'd seen actively coaching his teammates in the field. When he wasn't bowling, he was in the slips, doing all the field placings, and generally never stopped talking. I remember it annoyed some, but I found it fascinating....

RIP to Ken Shuttleworth, one of many outstanding Lancashire cricketers of his time. RIP also to Bob Simpson. You don't have to be booked for deliberate handball. A free-kick/penalty is often deemed enough. An offence on the half way line is often penalised without a card.

Re: Everton v Leeds
The most obvious problem we have when comparing ourselves (fans) with Leeds and Sunderland are the numbers.
Sunderland 51,000
Leeds 44,000
Burnley 21,900
I accept those figures might be out of date, but my point remains the same.

I hope that when the players and coaching staff sit down to review the Spurs game, they look at the good, and the not so good, and agree on where they might improve this Saturday and in many of our future games. If we were asking our central defenders to mark zonally, did it work? If they had marked...

Going back to Geoff Nulty, it took him a while to find his best position for us. He had periods as a supplementary striker, a centre half and a midfielder. He was excellent in the air, and yet he wasn't fully appreciated and often targeted by the boo boys.

What genuinely surprises me, is how few posters are selecting Flemming for a starting position. Until I see Broja a few times, Flemming is our most instinctive goalscorer, regularly looking to score at any opportunity, from any position and any distance.

Definitely a top Championship player. Will he be a stand out at this level, in what might be a struggling side or will he be a major contributor to a Sunderland survival?

Their back line has just recently been cobbled together. They will be fine, as they improve with familiarity. The coach gets good footballers who can play as he wants them to. They won't be in the bottom 6.

SP has to rotate and make ELEVEN changes. The most important part of keeping a huge squad happy is to reward them for their loyalty when the cup games come around.
Provided our squad isn't decimated by injuries, in which case he'll only make 10 changes.

Managing roughly 2 pounds a week.
7 weeks from 16-7 to 15-5.
Had a bit of a blip yesterday, match day.
Had a pie, pre-game and a Maccy D's on the way home.
If I ever do similar again, I will keep away from the scales for 48 hours, lol.
Hoping for 15-2, 15-3 next Saturday.

I also remember those 2 games, where we walloped Napoli 3-0 on aggregate.
Character building. Don't think I'd hold a grudge for 60 years though.
Napoli, I could understand, but to transfer it to Lazio, not so sure.
Do you hate every Scottish club, due to what Celtic fans did when they visited?
