I think the Spurs fanbase is equally split.
He's done a fantastic job to make them profitable but at the expense of success.

Re: ARTICLE: No deadline day move for Benson
It isn't good business practice waiting until the last minute of the transfer window for one or both parties to become desperate and see a deal go through.
It seems to be most clubs are guilty of it though.

Don't know anything about Etienne, never seen him play, haven't read any reports on him and couldn't tell you what we bought him for or sold him for, but what I do know is that it appears to be the kind of transfer that needed luck for it to work. Dead man walking and he knows it from that press conference given today. If there are still decent odds for 1st Prem sacking then get some money on him. Just a matter of time. The Championship is really competitive & interesting.
Promotion for me this season is Ipswich ( good manager) Coventry (getting better each season) & Sheff Utd ( if they don't lose players at the last moment)
I think Southampton & Leicester will be competitive but ultimately not make it.

We have made some excellent signings this window. The difference must be Scott Parker.
I genuinely believe we have more than a fighting chance to stay up.
I would imagine that S Parker is a lot happier at Burnley than he was at his previous clubs.

Good solid well thought out signing. Ticks all the boxes.
As for the reveal, I didn't get it, but perhaps that's my age.
My thoughts on the reveals are that they have done the job and now need to move up a notch, but that all depends on the target market which I'm not sure what that is.

Good business model for Burnley.
I hope that is one of our USPs when enquiring about up and coming young players.
If Burnley keep their promises to the players if & when they want to go ( provided we make a profit) that is a real asset.

Has to be one of Burnleys most interesting and bizarre signings.
Obviously good but not nurtured in his first season, then made to look a superstar by S Parker.
Wish him well & a great piece of business by Burnley.

Good signing in my opinion.
My early thoughts were that Parker would want established pro's through the door but Pace wants potential.
We have seen potential signings but now an established pro.
Before Walker signed I thought we were in for a long hard season, but now I think we have a chance.
