Re: Advertising Neon Lights !!!
Brightness might be an issue. The intensity needed in daylight needs to be high but could be toned down for night games. I do not have problems with it but have clear memories of a night game at Bolton a few years ago. They certainly distracted but as we won 1-0 went away happy.

Re: Strange points from Sunday.
A solution that is used in some other professional sports is to stop the clock. As soon as the staff come on the clock stops until they leave the field. This eliminates guesswork. Same could apply to substitution and then no silliness when leaving the field. Thus 45 mins play per half.

Re: FAO Any skiers
] If you're talking about a mile of apres ski, then you're likely referring to Solden rather than Obertauern. Having been to many Austrian resorts, I would absolutely give it a swerve. It's a main road of seedy strip joints and not your typical Austrian family friendly, all shapes/sizes/ages apres. ...

RIP Mr Grime. I started in 63 and remember those teachers with Weapons! I can’t remember him using it and over the years had great respect for him and got me through A Level. When leaving the Match always thought of him driving along Brunshaw/Red Lees Rd. Remember the football at school. there were ...

Re: Sky coverage of the game
They have 4 games live today and this must have been their lowest ranked game with least experienced crew.
Commentary was sub standard with som bizarre comments. Misidentified players a lot.
Overall not a good show and certainly a poor performance by officials.

As a regular reader and very occasional poster I agree entirely with your position. Debate and free speech are key elements but vitriol and bad language would seem to be encroaching on even the most innocuous topics. Tony, continue with keeping the message board in order. Part of the difficulty is t...

Didn’t realise such equipment existed with this name although it would seem company liquidated! Mind you our ground staff do a great job worthy of press attention.

If we had a cup run would get more time. Stayed at the end of the City match and noted he walked off whilst the rest came over to the stand for applause. As stated if he had been fit would have had more chance to impress and may do so. Ashley is playing well and Wells needs more game time.

I was there 63-70 and aware that it had been sold for further use as this new school but their surveyors managed to discover a mine shaft that meant demolishing and rebuild.
