He did apply the rules, the player doesn't have to leave the field if a card is given for a challenge that makes them need treatment.

VAR has made the game a lot worse. It would be a big positive if it could be run sensibly but our referees have made it clear for many years they're not capable of or willing to do so. They should get rid of it as it would make the game better.

They've done a horrible thing to our game with this VAR nonsense. Genuinely thought to myself it was nice we'd scored a goal they couldn't try and tamper with and we still had to spend a minute waiting for them to try.

Preston finished 1 point above relegation last season and Osmajic scored goals in two draws after the incident so this takes some working out

Hope so. Seems really odd that we've got two defenders who've played more league minutes this season than last season. May be controversial but I feel like if you make 13 signings you should improve your team rather than changing formation to fit in last season's reserves.

It's the worst of all worlds to have a system where multi-club ownership is fine for anyone with a big club or a savvy owner involved but penalised occasionally for smaller clubs.
