If they go down the 10 minutes route they could just do it at Ipswich's training ground the day before/after the return fixture. That is a little unfair on Rovers but it really is their fault they couldn't finish the game.

Common sense says play the last 10 mins 11 v 10. I think frankly if you took out how much money a point or three could be worth to Ipswich it would be the decent thing for them to just concede defeat.

Thought he should have been sent off and it was a double whammy because Slot realised he needed to take him off and Robertson on today's showing is still a considerably better player.

There can't be many jobs where you get a paid day off in return for making a big error. With that said though, surely the responsibility for the bad decision is Jones' unless there's an implicit assumption that the ref watching the replay is just a facade and the real decision is made by the VAR?

VAR has made the game a lot worse. It would be a big positive if it could be run sensibly but our referees have made it clear for many years they're not capable of or willing to do so. They should get rid of it as it would make the game better.

They've done a horrible thing to our game with this VAR nonsense. Genuinely thought to myself it was nice we'd scored a goal they couldn't try and tamper with and we still had to spend a minute waiting for them to try.

Hope so. Seems really odd that we've got two defenders who've played more league minutes this season than last season. May be controversial but I feel like if you make 13 signings you should improve your team rather than changing formation to fit in last season's reserves.

It's the worst of all worlds to have a system where multi-club ownership is fine for anyone with a big club or a savvy owner involved but penalised occasionally for smaller clubs.
