Re: Dude Perfect International Youth Cup - starts Friday

Impressive stuff. I would definitely have tried to pop in one day this weekend had I been living locally. How many spectators can Gawthorpe accommodate, and are they really trying to attract them through publicity etc or do they need to manage the numbers?

Thanks guys. Sorted. If you view your purchase from within the "my account" section of the club App you can actually generate your own email from the club with the ticket/ Apple wallet etc links attached. They certainly weren't sent automatically in my case!

QPR tickets

Quick question: are all tickets for QPR digital and sent via the App ticket wallet? Have folk generated their QR codes yet? I'm asking as a couple of my mates and I purchased them but didn't seem to get the usual email confirmation from the club. But we can see our seat numbers in the Ticket Wallet ...

Not part of the Claret+ interview, but it he's quoted as describing Parker as "brilliant" in another interview (quoted in the article ahead of today's game on this site). That's super reassuring for somebody who's played under Sean, VK, for the Wales team etc.

Does the Central Lancs Clarets bus pick up in Lancaster? My son has just started at the uni and is finding the trains are often up the spout. And he hasn't run into too many other clarets yet (though early days).

My first trip to Hillsborough was in the FA cup quarter final replay of 1983. We simply didn't turn up and lost 4-1. As a young lad I'm still scarred by the occasion! A good following of clarets too in a crowd of 41,000- something that was just awe-inspiring to me at the time, with that huge open co...

I have a vague recollection of Gerry Gow arriving late for a game during the Bond era. He ran sheepishly out of the tunnel at around 3.15pm in full kit and joined the subs bench. Caught in a jam on the way from Cheshire! Could you imagine that in the Premier League? I don't think Mr Bond was too imp...
