Plus, of course, the Government rake in VAT at 20% on all garage repairs. So, you have to reason, by NOT repairing potholes, they’re making even more money. Of course the VAT income just goes into the big pot, along with VED, that never gets spent on the roads.

The lounge at Crowood. 2 for £20 chippy tea dine in on Friday. Fish is like a whale, mostly fish, not too much batter. Thrice fried chunky proper chips, piece of lemon, pots of mushy peas and tartare sauce. Excellent, never disappoints. Stiff you for the drinks mind.
