Re: New Layout of Cricket Field
I wonder if it would have been feasible (IF) we could have purchased a small strip of land behind the CF stand to build a new back/roof as Liverpool and City have done whilst not having the shut the stand. Once finished we'd have a new roof, larger concourse below (giving room for larger changing ro...

Re: Morecambe FC - another club in a shocking situation
Morecambe may be the first of many: The spiralling cost of running a modern football club means that the days when a wealthy and sympathetic businessman can bail out/save his local club are over. Substantial outside investment is required and as many on here struggled to grasp (some still do) when ...

The keeper looks very inexperienced to be coming in as a number 1 in the Premier League. Barely played many games at an inferior level.

Can't help but feel the club are trying to polish a turd. The Bob Lord and Cricket Field need far more updating than a few shiny TV screens, flags and another add on. I guess it's better than nothing but seems again, we are kicking the can down the road.

I'm not sure about. We proved that being solid was more than enough to compete. We ambled to Christmas but we were comfortably in the top 6. Dyche would set them up to be hard to beat, just as Parker did with us. If they can hold onto one or two of their better players (Winks, Mavididi etc), they'd...

Disappointing but not surprised. The longer these things drag on the more likely it seemed he was off. Suspect the same will happen with Brownhill. Not ideal for us.

I don’t think Brentford would be full if they got relegated to the Championship to be fair. Ditto Brighton, but look how they’ve grown and now fill a big stadium. People will say City vs Town but we’re also a club steeped in history with and have a large-ish total catchment area too. I've lived in ...

Interesting that Spurs apparently still own 35% of Edwards' rights according to FLW. If we're promoted then Spurs will pocket £3.3m from the reported £9.4m fee.
