We are looking at signing FC Metz Senegalese CB Sadibou Sane. Looks like there is competition from others though.

Metz were reported in January to be interested in Delcroix. I wonder if there could be a possible deal here...

It wasn't pretty, but job done and minutes in legs. Loum, Banel and Sonne my pick of the best. Glad to see Tresor grab an assist, looked quite sharp so here's hoping (again).

I don't see us moving stadium any time soon. I don't think the club could afford to do it for starters - probably looking at £100-150m in today's money. The CF and BL clearly need a lot of work, and ideally rebuilding - we can't keep kicking the can down the road. I mentioned on the CF thread, IF th...

I wonder if it would have been feasible (IF) we could have purchased a small strip of land behind the CF stand to build a new back/roof as Liverpool and City have done whilst not having the shut the stand. Once finished we'd have a new roof, larger concourse below (giving room for larger changing ro...

Morecambe may be the first of many: The spiralling cost of running a modern football club means that the days when a wealthy and sympathetic businessman can bail out/save his local club are over. Substantial outside investment is required and as many on here struggled to grasp (some still do) when ...

Can't help but feel the club are trying to polish a turd. The Bob Lord and Cricket Field need far more updating than a few shiny TV screens, flags and another add on. I guess it's better than nothing but seems again, we are kicking the can down the road.

It’s not as clear cut as that. Or he's downplaying the fact we'll have taken a bumper fee and need a replacement keeper. ...

Koleosho back to Espanyol seems the obvious one given his past links there. I wouldn't be against sending him there on loan. I think it's probably unlikely he's going to see much action this season, and a loan spell would hopefully give him some consistent playing time. With a bit of luck he would c...

I'm not sure about. We proved that being solid was more than enough to compete. We ambled to Christmas but we were comfortably in the top 6. The difference is that Brownhill isn't a £20 million player as he's treading water at the level we are now at. £80k a week for Brownhill would seem crazy on the face of it, but if you factor in paying £10-20m for a replacement player and a salary of c£40k a week it makes a little more sense. I hope he stays.
