Re: Vertical line of text in an email on my phone?
Turning the phone on its side usually fixes vertical text for me. YMMV.

Re: Heat pumps
I don't have one myself but my father does. His system is working perfectly and has done for five years now. He's in the Highlands so he sees his fair share of freezing temperatures, not once has he encountered any problems. As I live just a few miles away from him, I know he has had temperatures as...

Re: Photographers / Photography advice thread
Thats a slight problem with Olympus. I think you are limited to Olympus' own branded lenses. Whereas with Nikon, Fuji etc you arent. And you end up paying a premium. This isn't true, I shoot with an Olympus E-M1 Mklll and have 4 or 5 lenses modern from manufacturers other than Olympus. The only thi...

Re: Cordless Grass Mower
I got a Gtech one last year when they were on offer, it's fantastic. It has cut the mowing time down from an hour to 15 minutes. The battery lasts for two full cuts and I received a quick charger that only takes an hour. I also have their hedge trimmer and the grass strimmer, to go with the large an...

Just finished the first season of Last Chance U - really enjoyed it! Fantastic series :D In a similar vein, All or Nothing follows one American football team through a whole season, the third series is coming out this month. So far they've followed the Arizona Cardinals, LA Rams and the new one wil...

"why was Defour taken off?"
Are you really questioning a decision by the man who has taken us to 6th in the EPL?
Have a little faith, he knows more than the rest of us put together

Re: Broara Rangers v Fort William
My dad played for both these teams in the 60's. I suggested that this score would be the Highland League record win but he put me right. He played for Brora Rangers when they first joined the league, the team was made up of whoever wasn't working on the day. They hold the record for the heaviest def...

Re: O/T sportsmania alternative
When I tried sportsmania on Saturday the links didn't work at all with a UK connection so a VPN is pretty much essential. The need for a VPN depends on which ISP you're with. For example, my sister is with Plusnet and needs a VPN, I'm with SSE and have never needed one. This is because not all ISPs...

Re: Burnley Vs Liverpool Milk Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg 15.02.83
I was at both legs, Kemlyn Road at Anfield with the family, we had no bother at their ground but I remember being a bit scared. I remember Derek Scott having 3 chances/half chances in that leg, wasn't it his birthday too? In the Longside for the second leg, crushed to a pulp when we scored but learn...

The Fire stick is fine if ... 1) you have a solid WiFi signal 2) you only install the few addons you need, not loads of added crap you'll never use (like the pre-loaded sticks on eBay) The Fire TV Box is much better, the only other device that beats it is the Nvidia Shield which costs quite a lot mo...

Your impressive educational achievements are clearly unrelated to football, so they mean nothing in this context. Also, your logic...

Re: Dyches gameplan?
The above is not an opinion, it's a fact. If you have played one season in the premier league and were relegated from the premier league then you are not good enough to play in the premier league, until Youve proven that you're good enough by playing in a team that stays up in your second season. I...
