Re: Aston Villa vs THE SUPER CLARETS Match Thread

Big pressure on next game tactical changes and formation and personel must win game No. No bigger pressure than there woould be. Certainly isn't a "must win" game. It's important if we can but there's no need to apportion that level of risk. Helps nobody. More important we don't lose but we need to...

Re: Aston Villa vs THE SUPER CLARETS Match Thread

Things we have learned from today. We are better with a back four. Laurent is NOT a centre back. We need Ugochukwu's physicality in midfield. Bruun Larsen is not fit. Broja is not ready to play in the Premier League. Dubravka is a fantastic 'keeper. We need a centre forward. Hopefully Parker will f...

Sunderland drew with Villa despite being down to ten men. So? We beat them. They must be rubbish, eh? And we must be world beaters. The season is a lon one. If we give each game a go then I'll be happy. For us to win, all our players have to be maxing their game and so has our manager. We can't do ...

After seeing this first half I'd love to swap to 4-2-3-1 for the second half, as per Sunderland, but can't see it happening A reasonable shout. I think Tuanzebe has looked a little off the pace, quite understandably. We rode our luck in the final minutes. We'll need to make a change at some stage. ...
