Re: Lancashire League & Worsley Cup this weekend
Attendance recorded at 254. Not a bad effort that. You really are a silly man aren't you? Have Burnley CC done you some psychology harm at sometime in the past? As for the attendance today, I would estimate at least 2000, Pity they weren't able to watch a proper contest. Burnley absolutely battered...

There will be a bowl out at Turf Moor if the rain stops, failing that, the toss of a coin. Shocking way to decide the outcome of the LCF Knock Out competition.Decision likely around 3pm.

Re: Worsley Cup Semi Final - Lowerhouse Vs Burnley
Obviously as a Burnley CC fan I'm delighted on our victory today down the West End. However, if there's one thing we should take on board from Lowerhouse, it's how to successfully stage a Worsley Cup final. In recent years they have been the gold standard at hosting such events.

Re: Worsley Cup Semi Final - Lowerhouse Vs Burnley
Great game, confusing at times and id not say the better side won but enjoyed it. Funny watching Tom Lawson giving it large to Frankie when he averages 8 wickets a season over 12 years. Think this may be related to an incident earlier, when Frankie appeared to 'give it large,' in your words, at a r...

Maybe some had already left. He counted him plus 4. How many did you see? Unlike your 'mate' I didn't go round counting how many people from Burnley were there. Re: Lancashire League Wekeender
I’ve never seen a bowl out - how many does each team bowl? The bowl out at Longridge had 5 bowlers bowling 2 balls each. It was level 3-3 after both sides had completed this, and so went to sudden death. The remaining players, (except the wicket keeper) then bowled one ball each. It still remained ...

At least another 500 days can be added to that total after tonight's result, ( unless we draw them in a cup tie). Feels good doesn't it?

Re: Lancashire League Cricket!
Congratulations to Lowerhouse on their trophy win today in a match they dominated after a couple of early losses.
However, they were helped considerably by an abject bowling performance from a wayward Burnley attack conceding 300 runs, something that doesn't happen very often, particularly at home.

Re: Cricket Sunday 26th May
Burnley decided to try and go for the target of 28 from 2 overs, knowing full well there was very limited time left. They would only have got 5 points for a 'no result' game, but, because they had earlier got the 2 bowling points and then got batting points for getting close to Rochdale 's score, th...

Defeat for Burnley after much confusion. Both teams agreed to resume after the rain even though the required number of overs couldn't be played to achieve a D/L result. Burnley went out needing 28 from 2 overs, which they obviously didn't get, but ended up with 6 points, despite losing, I have no id...
