Re: Superleague seml finals

Great game , especially in those conditions. Remarkably few errors. Leigh gave it a good rattle but ultimately the Field-French double act swing it. Another cracker tomorrow teatime hopefully.

Re: Superleague seml finals

II think neutral RL fans would naturally be wanting Leigh, as underdogs, to win but Beaumont’s antics this week may have changed that. The weather could be a leveller and whilst Wigan haven’t had a truly competitive game for 3 weeks so will probably be fresher Leigh could be more battle-hardened. I’...

Yes...ridiculous grandstanding from Leigh's somewhat eccentric chairmen Derek Beaumont. Has no reason to complain at all about the number of tickets as Wigan have given Leigh around double the minimum requirement of 10% of stadium capacity. The RFL should call his bluff and tell him that unless he r...

I’d say that going to watch a game of RL live can completely change someone’s view of the game. The commitment and athleticism of the players is immense. Remember him playing in Chris Waddle’s first (?) game as manager away at Watford. Was a baking hot day and we had a big support which was put in the end which is now the home end. At least that’s how I remember it.
