It's the entertainment business, would I rather England win or do I prefer a belting drama. I'm taking the draw and a lot of pleasure in watching it. It's not as if I have felt like a winner as I was sitting in my backside on a sofa. I have won regardless of the result.

Ignore my pre-edited reply. Whoever was the Haaland of his day I'd imagine. The value of a player at the end of a successful carer (that list) is not going to be their peak value as their career is finished by the time they make the hindsight list. I'd go for the player on the list that was worth th...

Great for both clubs if you strip out the emotion. We got a very young raw prospect who didn't cut it in the premier league with us (forget the emotion or opinions). Re: Do we need to be charging more for tickets to become more competitive at this level?
If it's just the most expensive listed for each club the table means diddly squat. You can't extrapolate income based on the most expensive season ticket. For this to have any use, you need to know how many tickets in each price band have been sold. If Fulham sell 10 at that price and the rest at £1...

As for old wives’ tales I remember from my childhood in Ireland, the one that seemed oddest was that if you put a new pair of shoes on the table it would bring you bad luck. Still don’t do it ( although I’ve had my share of bad luck, like us all) I did that once and my dad slapped me round the head...

Not bizarre but works in an unexpected way. You might expect that the sap from the crushed leaves neutralizes the formic acid found in nettles by being alkaline but it is the soothing effect of the sap evaporating and cooling the area. Dock leaf sap is also acidic.

Can we just agree that Leeds were the best championship team this year with Burnley an incredibly close second? Yes we might have had more wins rather than 0-0 draws and gained more points but what effect would that have made in turning those 0-0's into losses. It's fine speculating on one side of the game but without the same analysis on what the opponents would have achieved is fatuous nonsense.
