What I think has changed from the 70s is that a good coach/manager could make a massive difference to a Club which would elevate them to a level above their natural one. Parker made a bit of the idea of different styles/tactics v different opposition during his early interviews. Whether that was a way of saying "I'll see how it goes and maybe try something sometime" or not remains to be seen. So far home and away against different types of teams we've not seen a lot...

Born in Nottingham, grew up near Cambridge. Moved to Crosshills early 90s and started following Clarets immediately. 38 years in Royal Navy and now living in Cumbria. Always seemed to meet Clarets on various ships/bases. Like rats, you're never more than a few feet from one!

Remember the 2-1 at Yeovil when we last won the league? About 9000 on I think. Used to work there and go on when Gary Johnson was taking them up through the leagues in late '90s. Always been a big club for the non-league scene.
