Afternoon all, My 14-year old son has had a strong interest in all things aviation for some time now and over the last 6 months he has become a keen plane spotter (not my cup of tea at all, but there are far worse things a 14 year old could be doing with his spare time!) It's his birthday in a coupl...

No way a penalty for me, the ball had gone past Anthony, complete stupidity for someone to decide to shoulder barge Anthony but there were no grounds for a penalty for me. I felt the first and the third could, and should, have been saved personally. looked like the difference between a keeper in his early 20's and one in his late 30's. Long range distribution was questionable too.
5/10 and I've give some leeway for it being his first time behind this back line.

Like the six second rule before that, and countless others - added time being properly administered, 'simulation' being clamped down on, bellowing at the referee being clamped down on etc etc it will last as long as it takes for a decision to be decisive in a 'big game' before it'll be completely fo...

Little alternative for us given we lost Trafford, Egan-Riley, and Brownhill, and some in our squad wouldn't have stood out in the Championship never mind the Premier League. This, for me, is the key difference between the Kompany and Parker approaches. VK seemed to sign players left right and centr...

Our National Athem is dreadful. It works well as a football chant because, frankly, that’s all those 4 stanzas are. Compare that to Flower of Scotland, Land of our Fathers, The Soldiers Song and its pitiful. The Spanish national anthem is more rousing and it doesn’t have any words. Anyway. Back on t...

Quite incredible darts tonight, well done to all four of them. I’d love Wade to win it, and would t bet against him it’s a very Wade thing to do, but when Littler has the glint in his eye, it’s pretty bad news for any opponent. The depth in quality is far higher now than it was in Taylor’s prime, an...

Great to see Rock fulfilling his potential- much was made of him when he first emerged, people put too much pressure on him and it pushed his career back a year or two. Like it or not, we are leveraged in the same way the Glazers have leveraged MUFC and I said from day one this sits very, very uncomfortably with me.
